Also known as maní japonés.
In the 1940s, a Japanese immigrant by the name of Yoshigei Nakatani Moriguchi invented “Japanese peanuts” in Mexico — there were no such “Japanese peanuts” in Japan at the time!

Ingredients: wheat flour, soy sauce, water, standard sugar, monosodium glutamate, citric acid
Filipinos know these as Nagaraya cracker nuts.
